Don’t Forget About Your Kids

The letter below from one of our students should tell you why your kids should be training in our Four Day,
Children and Youth Achievement Camp while you attend a course of your choice.
Dear Dr. Piazza,
The middle of February my children and I came out to Front Sight. I took the 4 Day Defensive Handgun and my children, ages 17, 14, and 12 took the Youth Achievement Courses. After the course I tried getting information from my children as to what they learned and did. I heard about the rope courses and shooting the guns, but not a whole lot about the lectures. Not really a big deal, right? I mean, they’re teenagers.
The other night my two youngest and myself were watching a movie on TV. At one point in this movie a lady nurse was leaving a hospital when she entered the stairwell rather than taking the elevator. As soon as she did she got this uncomfortable look across her face. She knew something wasn’t right, but she kept going. Immediately, my two children looked at me and said that she made a big mistake. They said that she should have acted on her instinct because we are given that for a reason. I asked where they learned that and, of course, their answer was Front Sight. So, even though they didn’t acknowledge it at the time, I knew that they had heard, understood, and absorbed the lectures as well as enjoyed the achievement courses.
I know that I have thanked you in the past for the training that you provide, but knowing now that your courses have helped with the safety of my children, teaching that may possibly save their life some day, just a simple thank you seems so small.
What you have begun at Front Sight is so desperately needed throughout this country. I believe in Front Sight and all that you are doing there. Therefore, my thank you will be to continually promote Front Sight to those with whom I come in contact. Please carry on.
