I am amazed at how all the pieces (of preparedness) fell into place for this man. How long had he been carrying for protection of himself and family and at age 70 had the weapon available at the crucial time? I am 22 year old nursing student.
I own a Walther P99 in 9mm with a concealed weapons permit.

I have started dry practice after reading the 3rd report.
I don’t think I fall into the group that have built bad habits from repetitive live practice because I rarely shoot my gun (mainly due to the cost of ammunition). I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for these news letters, you see I do carry a weapon as part of my job and make contact with any number of people who could or would infact harm or kill me if they thought it was warranted. Your words of insight and gun wisdom ‘re: being mind set prepared’, have not been repeated often enough to be instilled into the subconscious of the law enforcement community and the lawful gun carriers of the world. When your admonitions have been absorbed by these lawful carriers, the world will become safer.
