Response to First Gun Training Report

Dr. Piazza,

I have received the first two Gun Training Reports of your set of 32 Gun Training Reports.  The first report (Comfort of Skill at Arms) whet my appetite to achieve more skill and knowledge in the use of weapons.  The second report (Firearms Training Secret) outlining the use of the front sight is intriguing.  I can’t wait to try it out at the range.

Restrictive Firearms Laws in Australia

Sir,

I’d like to thank you, Dr Piazza, for your very informative and interesting reports.

I am an Australian, now retired, with 26 years of Australian Army Infantry service and was able to pick up quite a few good tips from your reports.  Unfortunately there is no such thing as a private citizen with a Concealed Carry Permit in Australia, so as much as I would enjoy the course it would be of little or no use to me over here.  The only people with firearms on the street in Australia are the Police, some accredited Security Guards…. and criminals.  As you may, or may not, be aware… the Firearms Laws in Australia are extremely restricted, but only to the law abiding citizen.  There have been numerous occasions when I wished that…

Here’s Why the Government Should Keep Their Hands Off Our Guns

Memorial Day, May 26th, 2008

On this Memorial Day please remember all the patriotic men and women who gave everything they had to preserve and protect our freedom.

It is these men and women, not the government, who for love of family and country, have shed their blood from the Revolutionary War to Iraq.

I believe the greatest freedom won by our Founding Fathers and protected by every generation that followed them is the Second Amendment. Our right to bear arms equal to the government – musket for musket, M16 for M16 – is what separates us from all other countries in the world.

Yet there are those in the government who would gladly strip away the greatest freedom a country has ever known under the guise of “public safety.”

Everyone needs to see the Front Sight DVD

Dr Piazza,

There are millions of people in the world and I am really surprised that someone has not done what you have before now.

Recently I received the DVD of what Front Sight is doing for the world of firearm ownership.

To say the very least it is remarkable.

I want to personally “Thank You” for all you have done.

We will change the minds of anti gun lobbyist if Front Sight continues the work it is currently doing.

As far as the DVD, I think everyone should see it.

There is nothing better for  gun owners than Front Sight training.

Future Member Writes In

Thank you for the excellent DVD ‘Front Sight Story, Chapter One: Your Legacy’.  I received it in yesterday’s mail and watched it in the evening, it is one of the best produced documentary type films that I have had the pleasure of viewing, the quality is superb, well written and produced.

I had mentioned in previous correspondence that I am a retired LEO with 37 years of service, and I will be 78 in November.  How I wish that I were younger and able to attend a pistol course at Front Site Resort.  A severe back problem further makes this unlikely.  I have been shooting since about age 12, sixty-five years, and have fired pistols, rifles, shotguns and machine guns.  And I continue to maintain my proficiency with a pistol. …

Response to “Front Sight Legacy Part I” DVD

Dr. Piazza,

I had to drop you a line and tell you I agree with every point in you DVD. I used to belong to the NRA but their tactics became somewhat distasteful. I see now maybe that was the wrong attitude on my part but the honesty and how you get your point across to various “anti-gun” people is right on. I admire and applaud your efforts and your methods.

I spoke with my gun dealer today and found out he has been at Front Sight twice and he had nothing but praises for your training center.

Fact of the matter is I look forward to the fact that “someday” I hope to join the Front Sight Family.

Dear Dr. Piazza,

Unfortunately I’m a little behind in reading your emails but I’m catching up. I just finished reading your color code/mind set emails. I must say I haven’t seen it explained this well before and that you have put it the best way yet. You really tell it like it is. I’ve heard them before and I’ve read them before, but never as well put as this was.

I found the examples you gave to be most helpful in understanding some of the things you want to get across. I just hope that the people receiving these and that are unfamiliar with them, read them and takes them to heart — as gospel.

Spotting Crooks, Cops and Front Sight Students!

Anyone who has attended a Front Sight Firearms Training Course will tell you that the lecture material alone is worth the price of the course.

Becoming more proficient with your weapon than 99% of the gun owning population is just one of the many bonuses Front Sight students receive.

This is especially true of the lecture concerning the Levels of Mental Awareness.

Why is this lecture so important? Because if you adopt what Front Sight teaches and you learn to live your life in a state of relaxed awareness, not only will criminals see that you are aware of your environment and leave you alone (attacking someone else who is less aware) you will see the world in a completely different light.
