Dear Dr. Piazza,
Unfortunately I’m a little behind in reading your emails but I’m catching up. I just finished reading your color code/mind set emails. I must say I haven’t seen it explained this well before and that you have put it the best way yet. You really tell it like it is. I’ve heard them before and I’ve read them before, but never as well put as this was.
I found the examples you gave to be most helpful in understanding some of the things you want to get across. I just hope that the people receiving these and that are unfamiliar with them, read them and takes them to heart — as gospel.
I am a retired (20 plus years) Police Officer and have always wanted to take one of these courses. It might be a little late in my life but I’ll be there for the 4 day defensive handgun course on the 23 of May 2008. I haven’t carried in about ten years (shortly before I lost my wife) but want to start again.
When I received your savings offer for this course I knew right then that I’d be coming out to Front Sight. I’m planning to get to a local range and get some of the rust off before coming to train.
I am looking forward very much to this opportunity and thank you for making this possible.
