Here are two strong reasons why you should do everything you can to buy a gun, get training and secure a Concealed Weapon Permit so you can carry a gun with you everywhere you go.
The first is a jail house interview with a thug who recently shot two men simply because they didn’t have a cigarette to give him. That’s right. No cigarettes so he “went in dat mode” and killed them by shooting them repeatedly in the torso and head.
What you need to recognize is this can happen to anyone at any time. It could have happened to you.
You carry a handgun EVERYWHERE YOU GO because it is light weight, portable and can always be on your person as an emergency defense tool. Just like a life jacket in…

Dear Dr. Piazza,I am receiving your reports and enjoying them greatly! The story of Front Sight is incredible!Your personal story is incredible. The dedication you had in training yourself was fun reading about.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and sincere interest in preserving our 2nd Amendment freedoms and making us all more comfortable with our own Skill at Arms. What you are doing there is nothing short of amazing and I hope to witness it first hand soon. The Legacy DVD was amazing!
I spent 24 years in the Marine Corps. (I bet you get these emails all the time and they all start sounding the same.) My individual weapons story started in 1988. I trained hard and won the SecNav Trophy Rifle at my first competition. I am proficient with handguns…

The Second Amendment Means What it Says…
My good friend Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation told me several weeks ago when we were discussing the upcoming Heller Decision over some cold (soft) drinks, that he felt we would get a 5-4 decision in favor of the Second Amendment. Alan was right.
This is a great day for gun owners and freedom. Our forefathers are smiling from above. Give yourself a pat on the back and then get to work!
There is still much to be done to further restore the Second Amendment, remove unwarranted restrictions that have been implemented over the last 60 years, and arm and train every law abiding American citizen who wants the Comfort of Skill at Arms.
Front Sight will not rest until we…

Dr. Piazza,
Congratulations for being “Right-On” again… I’m all for responsible and educated citizens having CCW permits for the protection of themselves and others. While we all may tend to applaud this man’s actions, things could have ended up very differently. Your analysis of what he should have done was spot-on and should be drilled into every person carrying a concealed weapon.
The “Dirty Harry” mentality doesn’t work in the real world, it’s only works in the movies where you can cut the action, retake the shot so the good guys win and no innocents get hurt. My one of my greatest fears during my 20 years of law enforcement was accidentally causing the injury or death of an innocent. It is a horrible burden to carry and typically a career ending event for law enforcement officers.
Citizens need to realize that…

What would you do if you were standing in line at the bank and a man slipped the teller a note to rob the bank?
What would you do if he told you and the teller he had a bomb?
Well here is the video news story of a man who was faced with exactly that situation.
Watch this video news story and then we will discuss what was right and wrong about his actions…

So let me give you my immediate “gut thoughts” after watching this video news story.
My gut thoughts were, in order that I thought them:
- Attaboy! A CCW Holder in the right place at the right time!
- Good for you…

Dear Dr. Piazza,
I truly enjoy your reports and blogs. I agree whole heartedly with your opening statement of intentions regarding the carry of firearms.
It is appalling to me that any U.S. Legislator or law enforcement official of any kind would vote or legislate against the Amendments of our Nations Constitution, let alone the fact that it is our inalienable right to bear arms. It is my opinion that these despicable people should be tried for treason!
It is a true statement that declares… without the 2nd amendment all others would cease to exist.
I appreciate what you are doing and would encourage you to keep up the good work.
Front Sight is a credit to our Nation under God.
Sincerely,
Kevin

Dear Dr. Piazza,
I’m really no one special, not a celebrity, high profile businessman or a member of the armed forces. I’m just a guy who cares deeply about protecting myself, my family and loved ones. In all reality, I’m usually the guy who criminals see as a target.
The one thing I have always feared the most is the inability to act when my life is threatened. Running through the scenarios in my head I always freeze and am unable to pull the trigger, or fight back, or defend myself. In a real life situation that happened to me when I was a teenager, the inability to act nearly killed me.
I was at a friends house waiting for him to return from the store when I heard a knock on the…

Dr. Piazza,
I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE receiving the gun training reports and reading your blog. I recently accepted a Loss Prevention Security Specialist position at my place of employment and the information is very informative. I am not allowed to carry a weapon on the job but the tips that you give in your reports and your blog will be very helpful in helping me to recognize a potentially dangerous person or situation. Thank you so much and keep up the awesome job in helping to protect our second ammendment rights.
Sincerely,
Melissa D

Students often remark that our lectures alone are worth the price of the course because we tell you like it really is and do not sugar coat the subject.
Those who have attended Front Sight’s courses and received our very thought provoking lecture entitled, “Problems 2 and 3: the Criminal and Civil Liability Following a Shooting” will undoubtedly agree that the mainstream news story covering the self defense shooting of two home invaders reads like a script right out of our lectures.
If you missed last Monday’s post of Interview with a Gunfighter, you can see it here:

If you missed Interview With a Gunfighter, watch it first.
Then watch the main stream news story below that covers the shooting in the most politically correct manner possible… just as we tell you they will…
