Front Sight Mail Bag: Compelled to Congratulate Ignatius Piazza

Dear Dr Piazza,
I feel compelled to write to congratulate you on not only your impressive company but also your obvious knowledge, patriotism and attitude towards firearms and self-defense.
I am a recent arrival in the USA, having married a Californian and moving here from my native United Kingdom two years ago. At 38 years of age I am in the fortunate position of ‘re-starting’ my life, with the sale of my company in the UK and moving to the sun (although the weather does take some getting used to compared to England!). My ‘past life’ included a period in the British military and I was a very keen shooter. As you are no doubt aware, the tragic actions of some criminals in the UK were used to push forwards firearms legislature that all but ended shooting in the country.
Now here I am in the United States and have the option to defend myself and my loved ones against ill intent.
After some research I happened upon your website and to say I was impressed is an understatement. What an amazing facility and program you have created at Frontsight, not to mention a very impressive business.
Suffice to say, I will be attending the first of I’m sure many courses with you when time allows and look forward to giving you my feedback at that time.
In the meantime I would like to wish you all the very best with your business and thank you once again.

PS. My current choice of weapon is the Sig Sauer P229, in the Army our handguns were Browning Hi Powers and we also get issued Walther PPKs for concealed carry while in Northern Ireland.
