Enduring a Gunfight

Dear Dr. Piazza,
I have just watched the video “An Interview with a Gunfighter” that was absolutely brilliant.
If I had the pleasure of ever meeting this gentleman, I would firstly introduce myself and then shake his hand.
He should be proud of what he has had to endure and go through. Nobody deserves to be treated in that manner.
I hope that I never have to use my weapons to defend myself, my wife and two children or my loved ones. If the situatation ever arises that I have to do the exact same thing as this galliant gentleman did to protect himself, then so be it.
I would use my hand gun in self-defense and suffer the consequences of my actions and let the law of my country take its course.
