Defensive Hand Gun Dry Practice Manual – What’d He Think of it?
October 22nd, 2009
First I thank you for all the info from your blogs and the 30 training reports, The lessons are better then I thought anyone would give away!
I first saw the Frontsight add on Michel Savages web page. And after looking at it could not believe such a place even existed, a first rate RESORT where the average Joe could take there family be treated like guests not subordinates. To learn how to handle a weapon in a manner that could some day save their life!
With my economic situation being what it is, it will be some time before we join you and your staff for a weekend. So I chose what I thought would be the next best thing I bought your PRACTICE GUIDE -DEFENSIVE HAND GUN.
I have owned a hand gun for years and image my surprise to find out I was CI, Consciously Incompetent! Well I am using the guide several time a week now and thank you for it.
Any way with all that said here is what I wanted to share:
A few week I took my daughter to an indoor range for her first time shooting! We went over the safe handling of a gun at home pushing the importance of safety (once you press the trigger there is no taking it back) after a few times at the line and watching her flinch when pulling the trigger I had her do the dry practice exercise again and believe it or don’t, she shot a bulls eye and surprised us both!
The point this little book is worth every penny and we are looking forward to a weekend with you and your staff at Front Sight!
P.S. Just for the record, we are a home school family, Tea Party Attendees, and voice our opinion to all our elected officials. We attended the two Teapartys here in Temecula and attended Congressmen Issa town hall meeting in Vista. Thanks for your time and share any alerts of action on the Senate or House floor that will effect my RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.
Thanks again for a wealth of information and hope to join you soon.
