Front Sight Mail Bag: If Not For My Guns, I Wouldn’t Be Here
January 30th, 2010
Dr. Piazza,
Letting you know that I am receiving your reports and they are very enlightening on a lot of subjects.
If not for my guns, I would not be writing this right now. I was fortunate not to have to shoot them, but had I not had them I would be dead. Getting the drop on an assailant as he thinks he is fixing to make his move on you is priceless… the look on their face is, anyway.
Keep me informed. I cannot come there to the class at this time. I’m in Memphis, and to be able to travel there for the course is impossible at this time. If in the event my work starts to change and I am able to afford the travel and the course I will be signing up to be there.
I have a Karate School, I teach selfd efense classes for women and children, this is a free school. I think a lot of people who cannot afford to go to the pay schools here should not be penalized for that, so my class is more like a community service for those who cannot pay – like the single mom who is raising her children and has a small income. With that said, I do offer them training to learn to shoot and help them train before they go in to a school to get certified. So, what your offering here is value for your life – I call it – and I think it’s great you’re able to do all this.
Thank you for your time and reports – much appreciated here.
Brian H.
