Front Sight Mail Bag: Inexperienced with a Gun
February 27th, 2010
Dear Dr. Piazza,
I wanted to send you this email to let you know that I just signed up for the newsletters from Front Sight and have gotten and read my first one and watched the video from Joe Penny.
I was just at Front Sight last week for the 2 day Handgun training course, which was amazing!!!! I learned so much and have been telling everyone about it since. 🙂
Prior to going to Front Sight, I may have shot a gun 2 times in my life and was scared to just hold it. I was lucky if any of my rounds made it anywhere near the center of the target, let alone on the target at all. After my course at Front Sight, I not only handled my fear of guns, but could handle the malfunctions with it and was able to shoot in the center of the targets and did very well in the simulator near the end of the course.
I enjoyed all of the lectures while there and watched the videos with high interest. (My brother and I are trying to convince Dad to become a [Front Sight First ] Family member. 🙂
So thank you, thank you for doing what you did and establishing such an incredible facility with incredibly trained staff.
I am interested in the field of security, bodyguard, police officer or something like that (as I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do), so this training was very important to me.
I look forward to the rest of the Newsletters and will read them daily. More importantly, I can’t wait till I get the opportunity to go there again.
Sincerely,
Mahriah P.
