Front Sight Mail Bag: Flash Picture with the Front Sight
May 26th, 2010
Ignatius,
I have always wondered if others have thoughts or scenarios running through their mind’s eye placing themselves in life threatening situations and coming out triumphant. Well, reading this last report verified that for me. I grew up boxing in middle school and high school and my coach always taught us to see winning a match in our minds before the match began so we would never give up or give in during the match because that was not the way it was suppose to play out. I guess I have just kept this mindset for the rest of my life in all the activities I’ve been involved with since. Maintaining a combat mindset makes complete sense to me to when it comes to protecting my life and my loved ones through the force of my handgun if necessary.
I have been dry practicing with your manual for a couple of weeks now and I can truly see a difference in my hand-eye coordination sharpening. The flash picture with the front sight is becoming much easier. When it warms up enough here I will take this to the range – can’t wait.
Thank you.
More life,
Shawn S.
