Front Sight Mail Bag: Gun Training 11 on scale of 1-10
November 18th, 2010
I am 45 years old and have served as a Naval Submarine Officer on board nuclear powered submarines. I have had some of the best training in the world with regards to submarine operations. I also worked in the industry for 10 years as an electrical engineer for large successful corporations. The corporations often sent me to schools or provided training in my particular field. I now work for a non-profit organization as a project manager. I have to say that in all my professional experience with schools, seminars, special courses, and training, the Front Sight experience was at the top. Everything about this course was top notch.
My biggest praise goes to the instructors. Not only was it obvious that they themselves posses a high level of knowledge and skill but they are able to teach it. It is often difficult to find that combination in one person. Often the skilled person cannot teach. Or the teacher is not really skilled. To have both is huge and somehow you have found these people and have hired them at Front Sight. They were awesome.
The lectures were excellent and very valuable. Great speakers in all presentations.
I cannot say enough about what a great time me and my son had and at the same time we learned a lot.
I am also impressed that you equipped us to go home and work on improving our skills. In that sense, you created a curriculum that has infinite value. Most courses do not set you up in this way. Usually one has to return and take the course again to improve more. The Practice Guide we purchased at the Pro Shop and the lecture notes have given us what we need to do a lot of training at home.
I have decided to become a lifetime member and sign my son up too.
I will tell all my friends and family about it but truthfully nobody can really appreciate this until they experience it themselves. So I will do my best to get them come.
Overall course rating: 11 on scale of 1-10
