Front Sight Mail Bag: Shooting Course Lives Up to the Hype

I have attended several classes throughout my professional career related to technology, business development and management, but none of them delivered as well on their promises as Front Sight.

I was brought up with guns in the house, and had a few opportunities to shoot and hunt as a child, but it wasn’t until my house was broken into twice in the last year that I decided to purchase my first handgun to protect my family.  I learned about Front Sight from a shooting instructor who had taken your 4-day defensive handgun class.  I did my homework and looked at a few different schools, but none of them offered the breadth of courses found at Front Sight.  After purchasing a few mid-week course certificates so I could rally a couple friends to accompany me, I decided to buy a membership on one of your offers because it seemed like too good a deal (even if the classes didn’t live up to the hype).

I must say that after completing the 4-day handgun course my shooting skills have improved to a level I couldn’t have imagined.  The class did live up to the hype, and I can’t wait until I can break free to get back out for more training.  Although I was not able to achieve the distinguished graduate status on the final skills test, I will be dry practicing daily, and will expect of myself a near perfect score on my next outing.  As a side note, the friend that I brought with me to the class couldn’t wait for the first day to end before calling the Front Sight office to purchase a Diamond membership for himself.

Since returning from Front Sight, I’ve already told several of my friends about what an amazing experience I had and all that the school has to offer, as well as all of the fine people I met and new friendships I formed.  Many of my friends were actually surprised that someone like myself would be into shooting guns; and they would never have expected me to be preaching to them about the importance of protecting our 2nd amendment rights.  I just got off the phone with my youngest cousin, who is trying to get into the Sheriff’s department in Southern California, and promised her that I will be assigning one of the certificates that I’ve purchased so that she will be better trained than most of the other potential recruits.  Although I am now a first family member, I can assure you that I will be purchasing course certificates as often as I can, so that I can give as many of my family and friends the gift of comfort of skill at arms that comes with the Front Sight experience.  Thanks for creating such a great product, and giving me the opportunity to be able to share it and help bring my loved ones into the fold.
