Front Sight Mail Bag: The Wife Wants More Gun Training

Dear Doctor Piazza:
My Wife Rosanne and I attended a fabulous 4 day Defensive Handgun Class on April 4th through 7th. I was somewhat apprehensive to bring my wife who has not ever shot a handgun. I was very pleased to meet your head Instructor and Range Master…Mr. Koop….what a great asset he is for your facility!!
We both enjoyed his attention to detail, his professionalism, and mostly his sense of humor along with his excellent staff.
When we arrived in class ..trained through the morning and after lunch my wife finally had her first opportunity to shoot her brand new 9mm XDM… first she shot the dirt below the target …the bank on each side and finally picked off the tape role…the last one of the six was on the paper….just barely on the paper!
This was when Mr. Koop perceived she would be needing close coaching (and I had already asked that it not be me)…he immediately paired her up with a great lady student who’s nickname was “China”…Koop knew China was a four time attendee of the class and a crack shot…China worked wonders with Rosanne and with the close supervision of Mr. Koop’s associates they gave her the confidence and “Frontsights” professional attention to consistently improve her score.
I was very pleased that by the end of the course she was talking about coming back…we now have a fun but demanding sport that we can do together…all thanks to your excellent facility and the exceptional professional staff at Frontsight!
We both are very impressed with your facility and and your long range plans. Thank God that you had the vision and the burning desire and a plan to positively impact this Country’s opinion of those of us who hold the 2nd Amendment so dear.
The fact that a facility of this World Class exists in Pahrump makes my wife and I proud to be Nevadans…we live in Reno and plan to attend the class again next spring!
