Dr. Piazza,
Your instructors are of the highest caliber… no pun intended.
They knew their course matter, but even more importantly, they knew how to teach the course matter. Over my many years in my industry, I have known many people who knew what they were talking about, but just didn’t have any idea on helping people to understand what they were talking about.
In my line of work, I too often have to be able to transfer knowledge to someone who has a minimal amount of experience in my field. I have trained young men and women in the USAF and have also briefed generals on various programs. I believe I know what it takes to teach someone something very foreign to them. That’s why your instructors were so great!
