Front Sight Mail Bag: First Visit Feedback…
February 9th, 2014
Dear Dr. Piazza,
This was my first visit to the Front Sight facility. I had a couple of family members encourage me to come and talked a lot about it but I was still a little nervous as to what I would find. I have been to local gun training facilities that were either over the top trying to sell you more equipment or used volunteers who knew very little about gun safety and just related personal experience. I am ex-military and have used a variety of weapons during my adult life but would in no way consider myself well trained in pistols and rifles. I was concerned that instructors would either be focused on the advanced students or the student that was new to pistols, either way would be a challenge.
Instead, I found that both myself and my 15 year old son were very comfortable and challenged at the same time. It was easy to see that the Staff were very knowledgeable and were genuinely interested in making sure we were learning what we needed to from the class. As my son and I were leaving on the final day, we were already planning our return trip and what classes we wanted to take next. I will also be bringing my daughters to classes, in the future, that they are interested in as well. This is an absolutely first class facility and organization.
