Front Sight Mail Bag: Lifelong Gun Owner

Dear Dr. Piazza,
As lifelong gun owners my husband and I thought that we were at least minimally knowledgeable about gun safety and use. After attending the four day handgun self-defense course at Front Sight, we both realized how lacking our knowledge and our skills were. The Front Sight instructors provided exceptional classroom and on range support. They taught us so many useful safety and gun use skills that we didn’t even know we were lacking. Anyone who owns a gun should take a course at Front Sight to learn how best to use the gun they own. There is no “losing” at Front Sight—I guarantee that you will come away knowing more than you did when you went in and that your experience will be positive, no matter if you Graduate the course or merely complete it you have “won” by attending in the first place. I was seriously impressed by the commitment of the instructors and their ability to coach their students in such a professional, consistent and courteous manner. I have great respect for the instructors and their abilities and have full confidence in their ability to instruct any of the Front Sight classes. I would highly recommend Front Sight to any gun owner—or even someone who doesn’t own a gun but just wants to learn how to use one. My children will all be life members at Front Sight so that they can ensure that they have the skills to use the guns that they own.
