Front Sight Mail Bag: This Was My Husband’s Idea, But…
April 13th, 2015
Dear Dr. Piazza,
It was my husband idea to attend this handgun workshop as a family. They are avid hunters and very familiar with rifles as well as pistols. I am not. I was very hesitant to attend this workshop because of my inexperience and wariness of firearms. I appreciated the organization and sequencing of the material and skills presented and practiced.
All the instructors were very knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. I felt comfortable asking any of them questions and for personal assistance throughout the workshop. All of their teaching cues were very simple and direct, as well as challenging without intimidation. I am very grateful for all the information and skills presented and how many different ways they used to help me learn them. I was very overwhelmed because almost all the information, skills and techniques were new and unfamiliar to me. I really benefited from the whole experience and feel I have a lot to work on in “Dry Practice.”
