Front Sight Mailbag: Three Years Between Front Sight Visits
December 20th, 2016
Dear Dr. Piazza,
I found this to be one of the best experiences I have had. I had come with little to no knowledge of hand guns. I had taken a 3-hour ladies course and shot one other time after that. I had a tough time being the low person on the totem pole, quite frankly. I was pretty discouraged on the first day. I got a good night’s sleep and was not giving up. I realized I was being given amazing extra help. Every single trainer was there to see that I learned the course. Everyone was patient and kind. At the end of the second day I was so glad, I had not thrown in the towel. One classmate came over and told me, she had the same experience the first time she came and not to give up. Another gal said, she loved my attitude and spirit. My spouse and I seemed to be the only first-timers. We both struggled. My confidence rose as I began to realize I was hitting the right area and enjoying myself as well even though I was the last one to turn around. I felt overwhelmed but kept pushing through. Thanks to all the people at Range 8!!! We plan to dry practice and return.
