Basic Handgun Course Worked for Altadena Man
May 30th, 2006
We recently received the following:
Dear Front Sight Team,
I recently attended your basic handgun course and I would like to express some thoughts with all of you. I went into the training with no expectations, even some negative preconceived notions about who gun owners are and what they stand for. Upon arrival I felt instantly welcomed. We were ushered into the classroom where hundreds of people were attentively listening to a very well spoken lecturer. My bias starting slowly melting away from that point on.
After being geared up we hit the range where we were instructed on the principles of firearm safety and what it means to be the owner of firearm. After a few hours of dry practice and getting familiar with our handgun we went to the first live fire drill. Never shooting a handgun in my life I was very nervous, if not down right terrified.
After pressing the trigger for the first time and delivering a successful center hit to my intended target I felt different from that point on. At the end of my course I was able to successfully shoot my targets with surprising accuracy and want to commend all of you on a job well done.
I have a new found confidence in myself and I want to let all of you know that you have changed my life. The power of positive intention shows in every aspect of your operation. You have the most professional staff I have ever experienced in my life and was shocked at the state of the art facilities we had the pleasure of using.
Keep up the good work and as soon as I am financially able I will become a Front Sight First Family member.
Best Regards,
James Johnson
