This Ain’t Obama’s Pastor… A Front Sight Pastor’s Experience

With Obama’s church (or ex-church) and its pastors who use the pulpit to further their divisive and racist agenda, I thought you would like to know that Front Sight recently ran a Four Day Defensive Handgun course for a group of pastors and their families.

Here is an unsolicited letter I received from one of the pastors attending the course…

Dear Dr. Piazza,

I am sure that you receive testimonial letters frequently. I do want to offer a testimonial to my experiences at Front Sight and I trust that it will be used to expand the vision and mission of Front Sight.

I am a Front Sight Lifetime Member and consequently have been able to attend Front Sight on several occasions. Since becoming a lifetime member several years ago, I have brought approximately 50 new people to attend the Four Day Defensive Handgun classes.

I confess that to my embarrassment. I should have brought 500. I believe the training is so absolutely necessary that I constantly urge others to attend. Hopefully, I will be bringing another 40 or 50 people in November.

I have appreciated the professionalism, the knowledge, the training, the helpfulness, and the attitudes of the range masters and their line officers. I can assure you that no finer teachers could be found anywhere in America.

I recently brought about 26 new attendees to a class. Many of these were very inexperienced with handguns. I watched in amazement, how in just four days, many of them became very good with their weapons and how they grew in safety consciousness as well as being able to handle their weapons properly. I must point out that each one is eager to return for additional training.

Here is the point that absolutely made me stand in awe.

I watched those range masters and their line officers patiently work with each student. Naturally, some required more work than others. It was the constant exhibition of patience that overwhelmed me.

I have taught from the fourth grade through college level. In my years of teaching, the teachers who I most admire are kindergarten and first grade teachers. Why? The answer is because those grades require never ending patience and repetition.

I saw your range masters take raw beginners, much like kindergarten students, and bring them to college level handgun proficiency in four days with the utmost concern and patience.

I cannot express my appreciation for your men. They are all wonderful teachers– patient, concerned, and above all, extremely competent. They are an asset to your institution.

It is my desire to reach as many as I can while we still have some freedoms left and bring them to Front Sight.

Thank you for your work, your help, your commitment, and your endeavor to restore the Second Amendment to that which our Founding Fathers envisioned.

Again, I cannot thank you and your staff sufficiently.

I suppose the greatest evidence of gratefulness is to bring more students and spread the word. Lord willing, I shall do exactly that!
