When Child Supervision Fails

May 9th, 2009

High schools have football games; I’m sure many of you are aware of this. Football games are full of fun, cheering, band and pageantry performances. Unfortunately a couple weeks ago, a high school on the east coast also included a rape. A fifteen year old boy cornered a fourteen year old girl in the bathroom and raped her. He was arrested the next week at school and is being held in a detention center without bail. Many people think it is good that this boy is getting punished, but how does that make you feel about sending your daughters to school events with their friends? Shouldn’t they be safe? High school extracurricular activities are nearly smothered with supervision. For something like this to happen right under the adults noses is scary. Obviously you can’t be watching your children and teens one hundred percent of the time. They go out with their friends and you have your own life.

You can’t follow them around school, making sure that nothing happens to them. So we rely on school authorities to protect them. What happens when the supervision fails? Are our kids just out of luck? Not if you have provided them with self defense training, such as the self defense training courses offered at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. Yes, the title has the term “firearms training” in it, but rest assured that founder and director, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, also offers gun free self defense training.

This makes it perfect for your teens and children! There are several young person self defense training courses, such as youth safety training and child safety training, as well as teen gun training. You will feel so much more at ease when it comes to your child’s safety after they have received training from Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza. He holds the future of your children in extremely high regard, because he hates hearing stories like this one. He wants every child, youth and teen to feel safe and confident, so he took special care when planning the courses. Whether you want your kid to have self defense training involving weapons or empty hands self defense training, there is a course for them! Any one of these courses will greatly reduce your son or daughter’s level of risk in being attacked, giving them a better chance at a stable adulthood.

Along with young person self defense training, Dr. Piazza also offers adult self defense training. While your little ones learn how to recognize potential attackers, escape from even the strongest of holds and disarm or disable an attacker, you can be taking a course in rappelling training, martial arts training, edged weapons training, defensive handgun training, shotgun training, rifle training, automatic weapons training, night gun training, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit training or competition gun training. After your first self defense firearms training course or any other course offered at Front Sight, your life will never be the same.

Front Sight is extremely family friendly. What better way to spend a family vacation than learning how to save lives?
