Is Dr. Ignatius Piazza a Racist?

Last Monday’s Blog, “My Debt of Gratitude” literally overwhelmed my personal mail box with letters of thanks from those who rallied in towns and cities around the country or marched on Washington DC on September 12.

It also brought me some hate mail from people calling me a racist!

Well here is my response…

When I asked them why in the world they would call me a racist over “My Debt of Gratitude” Blog post they responded that my reference to the “Million Man March” and “Obama’s Inauguration” indicated I was a racist!

WHAT?

Just for the record, my reference to the Million Man March and Obama’s Inauguration was due to the fact that those two gatherings were PREVIOUSLY the LARGEST gatherings as compared to the historic 9/12 March on Washington DC.

So for anyone suggesting that I am a racist, let me advise that I am not. I do not care from what race Front Sight’s students, members, or instructors may be. As long as you are a responsible, law-abiding individual with no history of mental illness or substance abuse, Front Sight stands ready, willing, and able to provide you with a level of training that far exceeds military and law enforcement standards.

We have been doing this for 12 straight years and doubling our organization every year.

Let me further advise those who are so quick to play the “race card” that when jumping to such unsupported conclusions, YOU appear to be a buffoon (and a racist) in the likeness of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson!

And speaking of the size of the 9/12 demonstration, there seem to be people who feel the numbers were exaggerated. Well, not by me. The media has the numbers of the gathering ranging all over the board. I simply reported what was reported to me BY NUMEROUS, UNRELATED  PEOPLE IN THE MARCH who were told by the National Park Police that it was the biggest gathering they had ever seen with the size of the group estimated at over 2 million people.

When you consider the numbers of people participating in 9/12 Rallies in cities and towns across the country the overall numbers were even greater.

Either way, IT WAS A BIG MARCH!

So here is the original blog post that resulted in words of thanks and praise flooding my inbox, right along with a some folks calling me a racist.

I owe a debt of gratitude to over two million of my fellow American patriots and I intend to pay that debt in a manner that has never been done in the history of our country.

As the Founder and Director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, an organization that has doubled every year for 12 straight years and is on track to double again this year, my duties often prevent me from physically being where I would like to be.

September 12, 2009 was one of those days.

While Front Sight was training upwards of 500 students on our 550 acre facility near Las Vegas, Nevada that weekend, 2 MILLION of our fellow patriots descended on Washington DC to send a peaceful, yet strong message to our current government.

And even more patriots across America participated in local Tea Party demonstrations.

Of course, the mainstream news media barely mentioned this historic, record-breaking demonstration of the silent majority. If they did mention it all, they referred to “thousands” of demonstrators instead of the MILLIONS who sacrificed their time and money to travel to Washington DC so our politicos could witness a gathering of discontent that dwarfed the Million Man March and President Obama’s Inauguration.

I wish I could have been there.

Since I could not personally make the trip, I am going to reward those who participated in 9/12 Tea Party demonstrations, in an unprecedented manner.

You can also show your thanks to the millions of patriots who represented us in such an admirable way by simply spreading this message far and wide.

Please forward this message to all the Tea Party Organizers, conservative talk show hosts in America, and everyone you know, asking them all to do the same so each man, woman, and child who participated in the 9/12 Tea Party demonstrations can learn of my reward for them and take full advantage of my “THANK YOU.”
