Dr. Piazza,
Thank you for your newsletters. I am a firearms instructor for my police department and have been an instructor since 1990. The department that I work for is small, 8 person, and I have limited funds to work with.
But I have been reading your training tips and completely agree with the dry firing technique. I have done that for years and it is good to see someone with your expertise using it too. I am slowly incorporating into my program here.
It is a sad fact, but a lot of new officers have very little to no firearms experience before becoming police officers. I have that in my department. I am fortunate that I was raised around firearms and have military and a SWAT background. However, as soon as I put together the funds, I do plan on attending one of your courses. Thank your for what you are doing for American’s and for our Second Amendment.
