Front Sight’s Monday Blog, Anti-Gun Research Backfire

When I first read that a new study “revealed” states with the most gun laws have the lowest gun deaths I knew it was junk science.

Why did I know this? Because I am educated in the Scientific Method and I am a student of history. The history of the world is a very large sample size and you cannot dispute historical fact or avoid human nature. Throughout the history of the world EVERYWHERE weapons have been taken from the law abiding, violent acts against the unarmed increase.

It is no different here in the US in modern times. Just look at Washington DC, and Chicago, IL, and Oakland, CA and anywhere else in the US where the balance of power on the street has shifted to criminals because politicians, who do not know their history, have created “Gun Free Zones.”

Upon examining the “new” study http://archinte.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=1661390 it became immediately clear that the researcher was lumping suicides into the gun deaths, which would only be done by a biased anti-gun researcher, and has nothing to do with violent crime or murders committed with guns.

Psych Drugs, NOT GUNS are the problem!

If you want to reduce the epidemic of suicides in the general public, in our teens, and in our military personnel, all you have to do it look back in time, to the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, BEFORE pharmaceutical companies began creating and marketing psych drugs, and you will quickly see the connection between our ever increasing suicide rates and the ever increasing number of our Americans being prescribed these mind altering, suicidal and homicidal inducing psych drugs.

GET RID OF THE PSYCH DRUGS and get rid of those who are pushing them on our youth and military and you will see a drop in suicides back to the levels America enjoyed BEFORE children as young as kindergarten age were being “diagnosed” with “disorders” that have ZERO scientific basis and then being hooked for life on these powerful, mind altering drugs.

As for the junk science of the latest anti-gun research paper, when you take out the suicides that are lumped in with “gun deaths” the “new” research reveals what history has already proven from the dawn of time. In those states with the least restrictions on the law abiding to own weapons, you have a LOWER rate of violent crime and murder by guns or any other weapon.

Conversely, in those states with the strictest gun control, you have a higher violent crime and murder by guns rate.

But we already knew that. And so do the politicians trying to pass more gun control, which leads me to believe that THEY must be among the 1 in 5 adults now taking psychiatric drugs in this country! That is correct. 1 in 5.

Psych drug use grew 22% from 2001 to 2010, the same decade that saw the greatest increase in psych drug crazed murderers attacking innocent people. These are not my stats. See the Wall Street Journal story here:

And look at all the mayhem created by the proliferation of psych drugs…

Politicians know that guns are not the cause of violence.

So when a Gun Grabber like Obama, Biden, Feinstein, Bloomberg and those of their ilk use the latest psych drug failure as a false flag to enact more gun control, be a good student of history and understand that today’s Gun Grabbers are no different than Mao, Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, Pol Pot, or any other mass murderer who must first disarm the law abiding masses to force their agenda down the throats of the unarmed and defenseless.
