The course contents are excellent. I have twice attended, and twice graduated the 4-Day DHG (this time a “Distinguished Graduate”), and a 4-day Rifle course, and I cannot say enough good things about the simply excellent experience; Loved it. The Front Sight trainers teach simultaneously to the complete novice and to the experienced, and the course is equally appreciated by both. The staff assumes you know next to nothing about the gun in your hand, and trains you to become completely familiar with the weapon; how to secure it, empty it, fire it, clear malfunctions, and shoot it well. At the end of four days, you will know your gun well and it will be an efficient tool in your hand, a tool you are completely comfortable with and in control of. My young teens have all taken the course and are all very happy with the experience and have a significant confidence in their newly-acquired abilities to defend themselves should the need ever arise.
