Front Sight Mailbag: Self Confessed ‘Trailing Spouse’ Writes in…

Dear Dr. Piazza,

I attended the two day handgun course this past weekend at Front Sight. Admittedly, I was a trailing spouse to the course with zero gun experience and a sizeable fear of handling guns. I’m surprised to say how much I learned. The staff was exceptional. Instructor Bishop was the leader on my range (1A), and I was impressed with his emphasis on safety and the depth of his knowledge and experience. All the staff was patient and kind. These traits are important for a newbie like me who was scared. I do think I will return for a class in the future.
