Front Sight Mailbag: Respectful Youth as Range Master

Dear Dr. Piazza,
We just returned from a 4 day private handgun training class. There were two couples in our group and I have to say I was a bit apprehensive when we first planned the trip. I have experience with both handguns and long rifles but I was not real comfortable with my gun before the trip. None of us knew what to expect before arriving.
Our Range Master was fantastic! I have never met a young man of his age that treated adults with such respect. We were shocked when we found out he was only 23 years old. His knowledge and training skills were phenomenal. He was very thorough and we all felt comfortable and confident with him.
The Lectures were interesting as well as informative. All employees were friendly and made a point to greet us everywhere we went. I feel very comfortable now with my gun. We are planning a return trip for October. Can’t wait!
