Front Sight Mailbag: I wasn’t comfortable with guns…

Dear Dr. Piazza,
Going into the class I was not sure what to expect and was not very comfortable around guns to start with but went with my husband and friends. The trainers were out of this world helpful. I was so impressed by the safety rules in place and the help they offered along with encouragement. By the end of the first day I was amazed at my progress. The course seemed fast paced but I LOVED it. By the end of the first day I was talking about how soon I could make it back. I showed up scared to shoot a gun and progressed to being able to hit my target 8 out of ten times. Major score and was proud to say I didn’t kill any hostages and nailed the bad guys every time one head shot. I learned so much and have to come back to help build my confidence more. I have been telling family members and my list of friends and family I want to bring with me keeps growing.
