A hero walked among us. Remember Kendrick Castillo
July 2nd, 2019
I received this e-mail message yesterday…
Dr. Piazza,
My name is John Castillo.
My son Kendrick Castillo and I had just finished our two-day defensive handgun training in Nevada. We had a great time and I wanted to thank everyone at the facility for teaching us.
Kendrick training with instructor at Front Sight
Kendrick stopped two domestic terrorists May 7 at the Stem School Highlands Ranch Colorado when they entered his classroom and ambushed kids as they were watching a movie in the dark.
Kendrick rushed the shooter and stopped others from being killed by sacrificing his own life.
We are gun owners and we love the training you provide.
Please remember our son Kendrick Castillo.
John, through this e-mail, sent to the entire Front Sight community and placed in perpetuity on Front Sight’s Blog, we will always remember Kendrick.
We extend our sympathies and condolences to you, John Castillo, and your entire family for the loss of your son Kendrick, a hero who walked among us.
Here is the local news story about Kendrick.
Here you can leave a message for Kendrick’s family in remembrance of Kendrick’s heroism.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ignatius Piazza
