Here is our NEW, Front Sight Student of the Week, Conner Hammett.

There is no video for obvious reasons; just a great photo and letter from Conner’s father, Rod Hammett.

Yes Rod, not only am I very proud of Conner, and grateful for his service to our country, so is the entire Front Sight staff, members and students.

Here is the letter from Rod I received today along with a photo of his son Conner.

Hi Dr. Piazza,

I sent the attached photo of my son to a shooting buddy and his reply was that Dr Piazza would be proud. Although taken in the teasing spirit he intended, I thought there is some truth there, so I thought I might share it with you.

Conner began coming to Front Sight with me in 2014 when he was 16 and we have attended 17 classes together since. When he was 18 he joined the Army as an infantry grunt and quickly established himself as an excellent shooter owing to his Front Sight training and our constant practice at home between trips. He has qualified as Expert on the M4 carbine, M17 pistol and the M249 SAW. He recently arrived in Iraq for his first combat tour.

We are very proud of him and grateful of you and all the awesome Front Sight instructors that have helped give him the skills to defend himself and America’s freedom.
