Front Sight Mailbag: Breath of Fresh Air

Dear Dr. Piazza,
The thing I appreciate most about Front Sight is the way the instructors treat you. I moved to Arizona from California several years ago and so I obviously had little to no experience with firearms. When I was preparing to purchase my first firearm and get my CCW I was surprised at how unfriendly most people associated with the firearms industry were (gun shops, instructors etc.). For the most part they were arrogant, condescending and pretty much made me feel stupid to the point that I stopped asking questions and turned to YouTube and other online entities for any gun related information I needed. Front Sight was like a breath of fresh air – I had no idea that friendly, helpful people actually existed in the firearms universe. That is the #1 reason I would recommend Front Sight to anyone – when you create a friendly environment like you have, learning becomes soooo much easier! What you are doing is so important – please keep up the great work!
