Front Sight Mailbag: Came to Class with No Handgun Experience

Dear Dr. Piazza,
I came into the class with no handgun experience and a ton of trepidation and anxiety. The instructors were professional, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions without making me feel uncomfortable or dumb. The Range Master was exceptional in the way he kept the class moving forward and managed the different levels of shooters. He exemplified how an instructor should teach a serious subject matter while inserting the right amount of humor to keep the class from being too heavy. Overall, with the scale from 1-10 I would easily give it a 12. I am the mom of 6 boys and after attending a class not only am I giving them each a membership for Christmas but I will be paying for a trip for them all to attend. I hope when we come back the same Range Master will still be instructing and we will have him again.
