Front Sight Mailbag: This Was My Husband’s Idea…

Dear. Dr. Piazza,
I want to share my experience at the Front Sight training facility. I didn’t really want to go to this class. It was my husband’s idea and urging that I went. I was not a shooter. The only shooting I had done was another person setting up the gun, handing it to me, I would shoot and then hand it back. I knew NOTHING about guns at all. I had not even seen the gun I was going to learn on until the day before.
We came a day early to get a feel for the training facility and also make sure we had all the correct equipment. The Pro Shop staff was so kind and helpful.
With what they could not supply they gave several suggestions as to where to go to get what we needed in time for class the next day.
I was truly impressed on the first day with the way Front Sight was able to process 500 people with what appeared to be with ease and comfort. No long lines are long waits of any kind. AMAZING!!
The Front Sight instructors were spectacular. They all were so patient and understanding with my total lack of knowledge. They put me at ease from the very beginning of the class and NEVER even once made me feel stupid about not knowing what I was doing. At the beginning of everyday I wanted to quit out of my own frustration and lack of skill, but by the end of the day with such incredible staff I was so very glad I didn’t quit and stayed the course for all four days.
I would (and we did to any one that would listen all the way home) recommend Front Sight training as a MUST in today’s world.
