Front Sight Mailbag: Brought the Wife

Dear Dr. Piazza,
This is the second time I have attended this class and this time I brought my wife with me. I can’t say how much we both enjoyed the training. I was able to pick up information that I had missed the first time and continue to practice the skills. My wife has had experience with long guns growing up but very little handgun experience. This class has given her a great understanding of the operation and tactical operation of her handgun and I am very confident she will be able to protect herself and others with this knowledge. She is currently enrolling in a CCW course here in Utah where we live. I am a retired Police officer out of California and currently a Police Dispatcher and have used handguns for the better part of my life. I applaud your staff and training style as this class has been more informative and has gotten me back to shooting on a regular basis.
I have to say that the training I have received through Front Sight has been more comprehensive and complete than the training and qualification I received as a Police Officer and has made me a better shooter. I have been so impressed that I upgraded my membership while I attended last week’s classes.
